High-Pressure Water Jetting

High-pressure water jetting uses controlled jets of water to blast away grease, scale, root intrusion, and stubborn debris from the inside of pipework, restoring drains to full flow without chemicals or excavation. It is our go-to method for tough blockages that rodding alone cannot shift, and it is equally effective as a preventative treatment.

Rodding is often enough for a straightforward blockage, but it mainly punches a hole through the obstruction rather than clearing the pipe walls. Jetting works differently, scouring the full internal surface of the pipe with high-pressure water to remove built-up grease, scale, and residue as well as the immediate blockage. This is why jetting is particularly effective on commercial kitchen drains, older pipework with years of built-up grime, and smaller root intrusions.

We adjust the pressure to suit the age and condition of the pipework, so jetting is safe for the vast majority of drainage systems, modern or older. It uses no chemicals, making it a cleaner option for your pipes, your garden, and the wider environment. Jetting is often combined with a CCTV survey, either to clear debris first so the pipe condition can be assessed properly, or afterwards to confirm the pipe is fully clear.
